Banana Cake

This banana cake is so special.

Does it taste good? Well, the taste is BEYOND good. The banana cake is so special because of something else. And this is what I want to tell you. 

One morning, a colleague in her non-uniform outfit cut the banana cake loaves into several pieces and put them on a small paper plate. She did it by herself, from the having the idea to the buying the ingredients to the baking to the plating the pieces. She doesn't ask for anything in return. Her motivation is to make her colleagues happy during the preparation for a big event. That alone makes me amazed.

She has a serious health issue. She is a lupus survivor, not totally healed, still drop when her body can't stand the attack. Still, she was the one giving the others, who are much healtier than she is, the banana cake. I can't understand her. 

I ate the banana cake with a deep contemplation. It's really good, but there's her love put in the cake that makes it special.
